In short. P2P is direct trading between users on published offers: the buyer and the seller agree on amount, price and payment method, and the platform holds the seller's crypto in escrow until receipt of payment is confirmed. Participation requires a registered account, completed KYC, enabled 2FA and a P2P nickname. P2P is active subject to jurisdiction restrictions.
How a deal runs
- Section
Buy Crypto → P2P(or the current interface if navigation has changed). - Before the first deal you set a P2P nickname. Once saved it cannot be changed; it does not affect other account functions.
- Create or accept a buy or sell offer: amount, price, an available payment method.
- The seller's crypto is locked in escrow. The buyer sends the payment by the chosen method and marks it in the deal.
- The seller confirms actual receipt of the money, after which escrow releases the crypto to the buyer.
- Each deal has a chat; after completion both sides leave reviews that other participants can see.
Deadlines, cancellation rules, fees and the payment methods available in your country are shown in the P2P interface and the P2P Terms.
Disputes
In a dispute, support asks for evidence: screenshots and payment confirmations. Communicate and complete the deal only inside the platform. A screenshot alone does not prove receipt of payment: a seller should confirm the actual arrival of funds before releasing escrow. Escrow and reviews reduce risk but do not rule out fake confirmations.
Safety rules
- Do not share passwords, verification codes or personal data with the counterparty.
- Do not take the deal to outside messengers.
- Check the counterparty's reputation and number of completed deals.
Restrictions
P2P is not available to citizens and residents of sanctioned jurisdictions (United States, Belarus, Canada, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Singapore, Taiwan, Venezuela and others). Access through a VPN does not change eligibility.
