In short. Registration needs only an email and a password. Identity verification (KYC) is required for fiat purchases of crypto, P2P and TRAIEX Card issuance. Every external Spot deposit and withdrawal is screened by the blockchain analytics systems Chainalysis and Elliptic (KYT). The account is protected by 2FA, an anti-phishing code and protective holds after a password change or 2FA removal.
KYC: two levels
- Level 1. One document, an international passport, national ID card or driver's licence, plus a selfie.
- Level 2. Proof of address (a document generally no older than three months).
- Images must be clear, with all four corners visible. Processing takes up to 24 hours.
- After three rejected submissions the user must contact support. Rejection reasons that would reveal internal security logic are not disclosed; re-verification and source-of-funds disputes are handled by compliance.
- Companies go through KYB: incorporation documents, registers of members and beneficial owners, proof of signatory authority.
Users must be 18 or older.
KYT: transaction screening
Every external deposit to Spot and every external withdrawal from Spot is screened by Elliptic and Chainalysis. Source-of-funds confirmation is requested in disputed cases. The processing target is up to 24 hours. The platform does not disclose details of its internal screening.
Account protection
- 2FA with an authenticator app:
Dashboard → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. After 2FA removal, withdrawals and Send are held for 24 hours. - Password change in the same section; after a change or reset, withdrawals and Send are unavailable for 24 hours. Password rules: 8–72 characters, upper and lower case, at least one digit or symbol.
- Anti-phishing code added to official emails; an email without your code is not from TRAIEX.
- Login review: device list, last logins and IP addresses.
- VPN, Tor and proxies are generally allowed, but a connection used to conceal origin may be blocked; country restrictions still apply.
What support never asks for
Your password, one-time codes, authentication tokens, private keys, seed phrase, PIN or card CVV. Support agents do not call first and have no access to your phone number. Verify any contact through the official support centre: https://support.traiex.com.
Restrictions
The services are not available to citizens and residents of the United States, Belarus, Canada, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Singapore, Taiwan, Venezuela and other sanctioned jurisdictions. Reaching the site through a VPN does not confirm eligibility.
